So here's a very fan-ish question for you. In a Resident Evil topic, someone listed a series of heroes and then wondered if they could survive an RE campaign. For the most part, most can, but when the question of Batman came up, I had to pause. While it's undeniable Batman has the skills to survive, and certainly escape, there is no denying that guns play a large role in RE games. So I began to wonder: would Batman use guns against creatures he knows very well aren't human? Has he ever? Does he even have gun skills?

Yes. I think he would. Before he was really established, the first few issues had him use a gun. This was quickly dropped and retconned out though. However he has used a gun to kill Datkseid comparably recently, but this was established as an extremely dire one of a kind situation. Though in a non main continuity series DCeased, which was basically a zombie outbreak, Bruce Wayne Batman died. It's well worth a read.

Yes, Stephanie Brown. Two if you count Frank Miller's dark knight returns.

K. Seeing some whiner articles questioning why they didn't use her in the new Arkham game instead of Drake.

Bruce fired her as robin. Stephanie is actually an interesting character, who's had her own superheroine identity before she took on robin. Currently she's Batgirl, so if they were going to use her, it would make more sense to make her Batgirl. Game devs went with the most recognisable of the bat family. Personally I would have rather had Bruce's son Damian as robin.

So was Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy ever really a thing? I know they had a partnership for a while in the animated series, but that could have just been a tasteful cover-up for a romantic relationship; however, modern culture seems to believe that every relationship HAS to be a romantic one. So I suspect they did have a run in the original comics, but was it ever really anything more than that?
