Combat. I've never really been into stealth gameplay. That said, I found the stealth stuff much easier to complete, often very quickly at that. So long as there wasn't some dumb instakill mechanic in place on the map (damn snipers), I could just drop in, KO a guy, then grapple to the nearest tower or gargoyle. Rinse and repeat. With the multi-kick ability you could do it to groups of enemies even if they see you coming. I was also particularly fond of distracting/ordering enemies to stand near patches of explosive gel.

You could always make the predator maps harder via modifiers. Having booby trapped vantage points, and mines about the map, detective vision scrambled, makes for a challenging experience.

I think the Bruce Wayne lookalike with the funny wig in the Gotham finale, could be Lincoln March. Especially if they're going with the Court of Owls next season.

Okay the website takes a long time to load on my phone. Only one on the list I saw was Clock King. It's a bit unfair. He's always been the mastermind with a penchant for logistics. I imagine that Killer Quilt is high on that list. I also seem to remember a guy who put eyes on his fingers.

No, Quilt isn't on there. Anyway, I agree about Clock King. The list is obviously bull, but I was hoping to poke fun at it.

You know the kid that does his homework 5 mins before teacher comes to collect it? Well that kid probably did a better job than the writer of that article. Quite frankly I question whether the writer is a fan of superhero media, let alone a serious fan. He has two from a superman movie who are secondaty villains if that. The other superman movie counted the sidekick of Lex. If we're only counting supervillains, then there's a couple that shouldn't be there. Batmite - not even a villain. He's an imp with god-like powers who's a huge Batman fan. He tries to help Bats, but usually makes it worse. Calendar Man - not a supervillain, just a plain old serial killer. Bats has had to catch serial killers now and the, Serious it's like they just skimmed the internet to write this.

Probably Bizzaro from Superman. Killer Croc depending on the writer. It's hard to say. Most of the stupid ones are either comic relief, or curbstomped to show how good the hero is. Oh and Rhino from Spiderman, though lately he's had misgivings about his life, and retired. That won't last long.

What do you think about these recent grumblings from people suggesting the aging superheroes should retire and be replaced by new heroes instead of just getting rewrites, new timelines, and "son of" or gender swap deals?

Right. I can understand where they're coming from. Personally I don't mind as long as the story is good, and the characters have evolved over the years. For example Frank Miller's Batman is very different to Grant Morrison's Batman. Personally I felt Morrison's depiction to be the best. The problem for both DC and Marvel, is that the writers don't always have creative control, especially with company wide events. Many people were pissed that Bans was made back into Batgirl, as Oracle was a very positive example of a handicapped heroine. I suspect that was a decision by the suits. And yet there needs to be joined up thinking to prevent contradiction and plot holes. However my biggest gripe is with the Marvel movies. They've pulled the oh no he's dead, wait we fooled you, that when they do kill some hero, the audience is not going to accet it.

So, finally saw Batman Vs. Superman.
Snyder needs to ease up on the artsy stuff. And choose his plotlines better. Methinks he bit off more than he could chew. Sticking Batman and Superman in the same movie was enough. Adding Wonder Woman and Doomsday and saying "Luthor did it!" kind of cheapened the whole deal. And stop pandering to the whiners who want realism in everything. We get it. In real life, humanity would demand hearings and all sorts of legal crap. You don't have to devote the majority of the movie to it.

Then I believe I'm due you a belated Happy Birthday! This was a dull movie. Theyy could have cut the Justice League and Wonder Woman stuff quite happily, and saved it for a proper Justice League movie. I'm also pretty sure that the characters of Mercy(Lex's PA), and Perry White were only in the movie to prevent it having an all white cast. Speaking of casting, many felt that Lex was miscast. He wasn't. It was just that what they wanted to do with him wasn't that interesting. A Mark Zuckerman alike as Lex, was just strange. I will admit the bit where he trolls Bruce and Clark was pretty funny. Many people didn't like that Batman was killing mooks. Personally, I felt that was to show how far he had fallen. I had more of a problem about why he didn't at least lace one of the bullets from the gun turrets with krytonite. Just one krytonite bullet would have weakened Superman enough for the other bullets to shred him. And there is Doomsday. For one of the most iconic Superman villains, one who actually killed him, to be reduced to a 15 minute cameo out of nowhere, is unacceptable. Snyder should know better. He writes the Batman comic for god's sake. It's like a king not knowing the significance of a knight. I was amused they killed off Jimmy Olsen though.

From what I know of bullet making, it's not that easy. Apparently if you don't mill the bullets just right, they crumble into harmless dust upon being fired. And that's just for pistols. The higher calibre the gun takes, the better the bullets need to be or else they turn to dust. That said, people replace shotgun pellets with rock salt all the time, so he could have done that pretty easily with a shotgun. The only thing I can think of is either a) Batman assumed Superman would grab a shotgun instantly or b) the guns were a trick to lure Superman into a false sense of security.
I didn't really think much of Batman killing grunts. The movie states he's been at it for 20 years, so I just figured that is where he is currently at in the comics.
Wonder Woman needed her own movie. This chick just comes out of nowhere and goes toe-to-toe with a beast Superman can't even land a solid hit on and proceeds to tear up the place. If you're going to introduce an anime-level type character, you better have some kind of origin story. Maybe it's because I just don't know anything about Wonder Woman, but I would have liked to know why she's a match for Doomsday before she appeared.
They also need to stop being so anal about not referencing the TV series. Metahumans running around should be just as big a deal as Superman's hearing yet they barely touch on it. If they had just mentioned Arrow and the TV show they wouldn't need to devote much time to explaining it. Just acknowledge that there is a place where this stuff is happening. At least Marvel mentions their TV shows when they need to and that's why that universe feels so much more cohesive.
Jason Momoa as Aquaman is SO not going to work.

They're not mentioning the tv shows, as they're not in a joined up universe like Marvel is. Hell, Gotham isn't in the same universe as Arrow or Flash. The Sucide Squad movie can't possibly related to the tv shows as it contains characters that died on Arrow. Particularly Deadshot who goes from a white guy on Arrow, to Will Smith in the movie. As for Wonder Woman, her rebooted origin is that she's the love child of Zeus and the Queen of the Amazons. She's taken over War from Ares. I don't think they'll go that way in the movies though, and there is an Origin movie coming. I don't know how Jason got the aquaman gig. He's been consistantly awful post-Stargate Atlantis. The Conan reboot trailer was enough for me to pass on seeing it. Oh and Jena Malone filmed some scenes as Batgirl that got cut apparently.

Funny that. All the TV shows are joined. It's kind of what makes them all so much fun. Oh, well. I just don't want to see things go the way of the X-Men movies where director and actor squabbling created all these weird timelines that took all the fun out of the series.
That makes sense for Wonder Woman, but still, they needed so much more than an old WW1 photo. All that did was give me a Captain America vibe.
Making Batman a grizzled veteran was probably the best writing decision in the movie. Having him endure all that crap for years and THEN the metahumans show up works really well. Don't get the decision to go with what looks like power armour on him though. It gives the impression that he's not this awesome fighter, but just very well armoured. He even moves slowly in the fight scenes and mostly survives entirely on blocking attacks rather than kicking ass.

Again the armour brings up another point. He could have put some of the krytonite on the armour. Hell in the comics Lex wears a krytonite ring, though he obviously missed the part radiation gives you cancer.

I was going to say maybe there are some unique properties of kryptonite we don't know about, but then I remembered the scene where Superman grabs the spear. Simply being near it makes him weak, so Lois has to throw it away. So forget about bullets or rings or armour. All Batman needed to do was have the spear NEAR Superman, not even necessarily in sight, just anywhere within 20 ft. of him or so.
But Batman did win, so at least there is that.

What is a "proper" Poison Ivy? Because, frankly, I don't really like her crazy half-plant, monster control version. I always preferred Batman villains as moderately super and mostly just crazy.

Well Bats has a cameo in the new Suicide Squad movie. I'm guessing he captures some of them before the formation of the Suicide Squad.
