"Where do you store the drugs?" Tom has a feeling he isn't ready to take on the boss directly yet.

(Oh, no. This one is pretty mundane. It's technically a part of Leslie's dossier which is all entry level stuff)
"Huh? I don't know! It's brought in from off site by one of those drone cars. I've never even seen them. They're just here when I arrive for work," the pudgy gangster explains.

(So if it's highlighted in yellow, I should be wary of tackling it?) "Okay where's his private room then?" Tom demanded.

(Just know that anything related to gangs is pretty simple. I'm trying to keep the crime drama to a minimum)
"Top of the elevator!" pudgy points at the elevator. "But only the boss has the key. You're going to have to use the stairs."

"This is for the gun." Tom tells him as he knocks him out. He gets locked in the boot with his "friend". Tom makes his way up the stairs. Heading for the boss room.

Tom walks to the door, but as he approaches it, he hears a "clink" sound. He pulls the door, but it doesn't open. He turns to discover that the light above the elevator has also turned red. He tries the door again. The handle depresses, but the door remains blocked. Looks like it has been locked down.

Well they know he's there. Time for subtlety was gone. He mighty strikes the door, trying to get through.

It's almost like they have surveillance cameras or something.
Tom concentrates, then delivers a powerful punch to the door. The first strike rips the housing off the handle and creates a massive dent in the door. The second strike caves the door so severely whatever bars were holding it shut slip out of their enclosure allowing the door to swing open. He enters the stairwall. There doesn't seem to be any other kind of exit. The only way is up.
"He's coming through!" someone shouts from somewhere higher up. He hears people descending the stairs.

Looks like it's time for a good old fashioned hide whooping as his maternal great grandfather used to say. Tom goes up for the fight.

Tom starts climbing the stairs to meet his adversaries. The first sight of them he gets is a man with a goatee wearing a leather jacket. He points at Tom and shouts "There he is!". He points a pistol and fires. Bullets ring off the hand rails.
It's about two stories up.

Up and up Tom goes, with all his mad dodging flows. After all that dodging, once he gets to the guy, it's a brutal yet not fatal takedown. It's designed to intimidate the other gang members.

Tom charges up the stairs, bullets raining down around him. The thug growls in frustration and gives up firing. He continues down the stairs until he can get a more solid shot. The two meet with one at the bottom of one set of stairs and the other at the top. The gangster fires on Tom, but the ninja ducks it making the gangster gasp in shock. The ninja charges up the steps and sweeps the feet out from beneath his target, but the gangster isn't entirely inept. He times his hop perfectly.
But Tom is now in the man's face, and First Attack favours a melee attacker engaging a ranged defender (although I'm thinking pistols should be the exception to that rule; I won't implement that here). He buries a fist into the thug's gut, then head butts him in the face for a nice, bloody injury, but doesn't kill the man. Down he goes.
Tom hears more hired goons descending the stairs. Another guy, this one wearing pink shaded sunglasses and a tank top, fires on Tom with a pistol. Again, firing from above isn't the best angle. But as Tom approaches this guy, he continues firing on Tom while descending the stairs. Running down stairs throws your aim off, though, and as the two close, none of the shots connect. A high kick to the jaw and a shot to the knee puts this guy down.
The next guy is right behind him and has his feet firmly planted to deliver two quick shots. But his panic is showing and his hands shake. The shots go nowhere. Tom knocks this guy's knee out, sending him tumbling down the stairs.
He doesn't hear any more footsteps. A couple more flights and the stairs end. He finds himself standing outside a lone door with a rectangular window in it.

Tom looks through the window.
Looks like this is the place where they pack the duffle bags with the product. Tom can see one guy at stainless steel table stuffing white bags into a duffle bag. He can also see another guy running money through a counting machine. He doesn't see any weapons.

Tom tries the door. If it's open, he tries to stealth takedown the guy. If not, Tom smashes the door open and goes for a takedown.

It's open, but any pretense at stealth dies the moment the door swings open. It makes an obvious "swish" noise, followed by a mechanic whir as a mechanism takes over for the opening of the door.
But the opportunity is not lost.
"Hey, did you get the guy?" the man shoving stuff into the bag asks. He turns around...
Just in time to take a fist to the face. He drops like, well, a bag of brick-shaped drugs. With aforementioned bag of drugs.
There are a few other people in the room, but none go for weapons of any kind. They just put their backs to the wall, all staring fearfully. One hits a button on one of the counting machines. All of the money counting machines stop and lock up, but that doesn't block Tom from the cash. There are a couple piles of bills still just sitting around on tables.

All of the workers shield their faces.
"The boss is on stage. He actually thinks he's a musician."
"But we can't talk about anything else. We say a word, we die! Our families die!"
One points to the camera in the corner of the room.

They exchange glances.
"This is a nightclub. It's called the Cockyard."
"But didn't you know that? How did you find the place?"
"His stage name is Cock Rock or...something like that. He changes it every week. It's stupid."

"Leave and don't come back. Your boss is done." Tom said forcefully to them. He waits a couple of moments to see if any of them are stupid enough to return. If not, he heads through the door to the gangster. Tom has a feeling this is going to be some bored rich kid.

The counters and bag stuffers are happy to exit the garage stairwell. They do not return.
Tom goes to the other door and opens it. He spots a long, concrete walled corridor and begins to recognize more common building features. This looks like a supply corridor to the kitchen and bar.
But he doesn't have time to examine it. A couple men wearing suits stand a short ways up the corridor. As soon as they see him, they draw their pistols and charge him.

Tom too charges. He holds faith in his ability to dodge. Let the beatdown begin.

TIP OF THE PAGE: If you play it right, or just get lucky, sometimes the interests of certain dossiers will overlap. Two birds with one stone!
THE COCKYARD: Supply Corridor LESLIE NEAL DOSSIER: Take down gangs to earn her trust
The first guy to reach Tom seems to be itching for a fight because he doesn't fire on him. He tries to throw a punch, but Tom is quicker. The superhero rapidly palms the guy in the nose, then delivers a crushing blow to his stomach (remember, unarmed combat is treated like "free" two weapon fighting, unless you attempt a flying kick or something fancy like that). Tom has to punch through what feels like some kind of armoured vest, but punch through it he does.
When the other guy goes down so quickly, the second skids to a halt and fires. Just like in the stairwell, sudden stops isn't good for your aim. Tom doesn't even have to Dodge. He jumps over the first guy, wins First Attack, then hammers the guy's gun hand into the wall. The guy only has a second to get out a pained shriek before Tom rams his head into the wall.
The shriek attracts the attention of a third guy from a door farther down the hall. He, too, produces a pistol, but he's got some range on Tom. Tom charges, seemingly supernaturally ducking and weaving around the bullets. This guy is staring in awe when Tom takes him out.
**Good idea for a Variant. If Tom is in the process of moving while Dodging, and one of those Dodges scores a 3, then it should trigger something. Maybe a free Flying Kick or something else cool. Or maybe if he scores multiple Dodges in a row, his momentum allows him to rapidly "auto dodge" through the rest of it to his target like a free move.
That seems to be the end of this round of mooks. There are a couple doors in the corridor. One to his right seems to lead to the loading dock. The next door, where the third guy came from, has steam coming out of it. The tantalizing smell of something tasty wafts into the corridor. He's suddenly reminded that he hasn't eaten or drank anything all day.
