(Sorry, been busy so I prioritised the other games. Plus not sure what to do with Asher.)

(If this were Mass Effect, and you were playing your infiltrator, and you knew some enemies were approaching you down a narrow tunnel, what would you do then?)

(LOL. I said Asher, not Arkady.)

(Kind of hard to read with no graphics card.
But the point is still applicable. What would you do with the engineer on your team?)

(Yes, but it doesn't have to be a door. He can turn any electrical object into an Overload trap. You can even zap something like a gun or a phone and just toss it on the ground.
Would it help if I mentioned all abilities have ranges like they do in Mass Effect? So 60 ft. or so I think. Or maybe 30. Haven't decided yet)

"Asher booby trap that door at range, we're withdrawing from this room to cover."

"Got it!" Asher replies. He extends his omnitool towards the door, which forms into a rod, and then quickly zaps the door. "Door trapped!"
"They're coming! What do we do, captain?" Lisben asks.
Original description of this room:
The tunnel veers to the left and then suddenly opens up into a wide cavern. In the middle of the earthy floor sits a pair of large crates and it is upon these crates the two men work. One man seems concerned with studying a checklist while the other grabs a pair of metal round crates and is busy hauling them up a grid stairway to a tunnel overlooking the room. Set within this upper tunnel, and also overlooking the chamber, is a mobile workstation mounted on heavy iron legs and set securely on the surrounding rock. A window into the station reveals some kind of terminal and shelves covered in goods.
Immediately to the right of Arkady's tunnel is another heavy door like the one outside, but this one seems far studier and its omnilock is shaded a deep red. There doesn't seem to be a keypad for this door.
The whole chamber is only 20 ft. in length.

There are a couple crates, but this isn't really the spot where I intended you to deal with your first real encounter. Map time: LEGEND:Purple Star: YOU!!Exclamation: Points of interest. Question Mark: NPC's and questgivers. You want to talk with these guys. Dollar Signs: Loot! ...or loot you've already collected. You want the GREEN signs. Black Lines: Usually impenetrable objects like walls. Brown Shapes: Usually indicate destructible objects like boxes and tables. Grey Shapes: Usually indicate semi-permanent, but movable, objects like cars and trash bins. Great for cover!Red Bars on Black Lines: Locked doors. Blue Bars on Black Lines: Unlocked doors. TIP OF THE PAGE: Don't know what to look for? EXCLAMATION POINTS.! They indicate points of interest. If they're black, then you've already did whatever needed to be done, but if they're red, then they still have a use. They generally indicate things like levels, switches, locks, and the like, but they can also indicate events like an object that can be used in some way. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE RED EXCLAMATION POINTS! The same is generally true for Question marks which indicate NPCs.

Arkady and Asher take up positions behind the southern crates. Arkady is using the sniper rifle.for a headsot, going invisible asap when he sees an enemy. Asher uses overload attacks and his SMG. The Asari hides behind corner of the room her team is in and prepares to shotgun blast the first enemy to arrive.

**In an effort to make this battle more simple, I'm having the mercs fall back to the room where the team was originally meant to first encounter them. It won't make sense, but at least it will work better.
