Boink! Boink! (+6 and +9 HP)
Still need a final vote for which way to go.
Oh, and Eadbald does a quick search of the room, but he doesn't find anything he think is worth caring about.

(K, I'm just gonna speed this up) * * * * *
[glow=blue,6,300]UPDATE[/glow] ****************
As a nice side effect to defeating the Broken Spirit, the unsettling nature of the Vault no longer bothers the party all that much.
The wolfhound suddenly howls at the mention of allowing it to choose which way to go. It runs over to the mortar and pestle door and barks, then sits down. The party runs over to it, open the heavy, but not sealed, stone door, then continue into the chamber beyond.
SPIRIT VAULT: Blackrock Cathedral ========================
Like the chamber before it, the cavernous look of the cave has given away to carved stone. This particular room is long, but not wide, and sports a very high ceiling. Sarcophagi, much like that of the Broken Spirit's, are set against each wall roughly every 5 ft. from eachother. A roughly carved column separates each sarcophagus, and some have prestigious looking runes etched into the lids. Instead of weapons and armour, sacks of long spoiled trading goods, such as wheat, lie around the sarcophagi. Some even have ceremonial items, like head dresses and staves, lying next to the trade goods.
"Shamans and medicine women," Kay announces as he examines the runes. "I can't read these, but I don't think this is the elders' hall."
Looking ahead, the party spots another door about 100 ft. away at the end of the room. It's open, and a soft light appears to be coming from that room. The wolfhound ambles towards the door at the far end of the room while the rest of the party looks around.
The wolfhound suddenly stops and begins growling once it gets close to the door. Kay lifts his torch a little higher.
"I think whoever else is here must be in the next room," Kay says as he readies his club. "Whoever they are, they made it through the Vault. We must prepare for the worst."
Buffs? Heals? Any other preparation?

Cealia uses a potion, to save charges on her CLW wand. She'll also prepare new spells.

[glow=blue,6,300]UPDATE[/glow] ***************
Everyone, except Kay, drinks a potion. Xelander still has quite a few potions kicking around.
"Okay, let's get moving," Kay says as he begins to follow the wolfhound to the door at the end of the corridor. The rest of the party follows, and soon they pass through the door and descend down a set of narrow stairs.
SPIRIT VAULT: Elder's Hall ==================
The party find themselves in a circular room roughly 30 ft. in diameter, about the same size as the Broken's Spirit's room. Unlike that room, this room is lit by a pale blue light emitted by a series of crystals sticking out of the ceiling some 10 ft. above the party. Circling the perimeter of the room is a series of sarcophagi, some stacked on top of eachother. There doesn't appear to be anyone in the room.
Kay begins to concentrate, and after a moment, he focuses his attention on a sarcophagus just off to his right. The wolfhound sits in the middle of the room, and the party joins it as they take a look around.
Kay has Eadbald remove the sarcophagus' lid, which proves to be pretty easy to remove, then begins sprinkling a powder on the corpse inside. It's wrapped in cloth, so nobody can see the yucky stuff. Once the powder is sprinkled, Kay lights some incense with the black torch, which Xelander still carries, then begins to murmur something. After a few moments, a chilling wind blows through the room, and a greenish glow begins to surround the sarcophagus. The glow eventually coalesces into a vaguely humanoid shape that floats a few inches above its corpse.
"Where...why have I been summoned to the cursed world of mortals? Have I been raised?" the words of the spirit seem hollow and tired. Its eye are sleepy. "This is shamanism. Who are you?"
"I have called for you, Elder Greenbough," Kay replies with a bow. "Please forgive me, wise elder, but it is very important that we speak. There is a soul harvester running amok and we need counsel."
The spirit of Elder Greenbough blinks at the young shaman. "Has he returned?"
Kay shakes his head. "No, great elder. I'm referring to the present. The creature you battled in the past has long been vanquished. This is a new soul harvester, one that has already destroyed a village of innocents."
The spirit of Greenbough suddenly looks very sad. "Oh, what a tragedy that was. I am so lonely...the emperor was a good friend of mine, but I can't find him, and Xelander seems to be lost in the mortal world."
Kay nods. "Yes, a great tragedy, but please focus, wise elder. The soul harvester of today...we need to know how to find and defeat it before it grows any stronger."
The spirit of Greenbough shakes his head. "A terrible tragedy...those horrid beasts of the southern forests. They are not men, they are monsters. How dare they use their magic for such primitive acts!"
Kay looks puzzled. "The men of the southern forests? You mean the tribes of the south? They are the ones who created your soul harvester?
Greenbough nods. "They did. At least, we think they did. It appeared when the emperor began to conquer their lands, and then...oh, so terrible!"
Kay nods. "I see. It used unholy magicks on your men. How did you guys defeat it?"
"The soul harvester can be wounded while it is still tied to the mortal realm, and that's what we did to it," Greenbough lowers its head. "But then it became something else...something far worse. After that..."
"I'm sorry you lost so many men and were forced to retreat, and I'm sorry the emperor died," Kay replies.
Greenbough suddenly looks frantic. "No! You don't understand. We defeated the monster, but its evil lingered over all of us. After the emperor was killed in an ambush and Xelander returned north to deal with the succession, everything changed. The evil did something horrible to our..."
Greenbough's eyes widen. "NOOOO! HE'S HERE! THE CREATURE IS HERE! THE GODS HAVE MERCY ON US ALL!"
The green mist that is Greenbough suddenly disperses like smoke in the wind. Kay leaps to his feet and draws his club. "Somebody banished the elder!"
And then it happens.
A massive, axe-like blade suddenly slices through the northeastern wall like a knife through hot butter. It is only a tiny slit in the rock, but it's enough for a black mist to seep through the crack. The mist then expands into a large sphere, and when it dissipates, the heavily armored figure of the soul harvester emerges. It is still as terrible and intimidating as the party remembers when they saw him at Xelander's Crossing: Radically oversized shield, horned helmet, armor thicker than a dwarven gate-door, and that massive sword with a blade that expands into a crescent moon at its end. The sword clatters to the ground, and the soul harvester gives the party a passing glance as it steps over to the nearest sarcophagus. It raises its hand, and the same green mist begins to rise from all of the sarcophagi. The mist is gathering around the soul harvester's hand.
"No! Don't let it steal the souls of the elders!" Kay screams.
The soul harvester, perhaps erroneously, pays the party little heed as it appears to harvest the souls of the ancient elders. Actions?

[glow=blue,6,300]UPDATE[/glow] **************** The party stares at the soul harvester dumbfounded, probably because they're trying to figure out how the villain got here before them ( ). Kay doesn't stare. He draws his bow and fires it at the soul harvester, but it only cracks when it strikes a heavy pauldron on the creature's left shoulder. The soul harvester turns its head to glance at Kay, then twists its head before turning back to its task. The party can almost imagine the soul harvester rolling its eyes at the shaman. Kay growls, then charges the soul harvester, shield raised, and does his best to slam into the creature as hard as he can. The shaman bounces off the soul harvester like a rubber ball. Now the soul harvester turns on the shaman and begins to reach for him.

[glow=blue,6,300]UPDATE[/glow] **************
Cealia does not have Produce Flame prepared.
Eadbald and Xelander charge the soul harvester before it can reach Kay. Eadbald manages to get his axe around just before the soul harvester reaches Kay. While he does knock the soul harvester's arm away, Eadbald doesn't puncture any armor. Xelander's new magical dagger does, but it's little more than a scratch (-3 HP).
The soul harvester leaves Kay and eases into a combat position. It then proceeds to knock Xelander back about 5 ft. with its shield, then reaches for Eadbald. The dwarf tries to resist, but the soul harvester gets a hand on him. The soul harvester's grip is like iron, and there is nothing the dwarf can do as he is thrown back to the center of the room.
Kay crawls away from the soul harvester and eventually falls back to the rest of the party.
Despite its outburst, the soul harvester still doesn't want to get personally involved with the party. Instead, it waves its hand, then begins to draw the greenish energies of the elders' again.
As Kay prepares to charge the soul harvester again, a large number of defenders suddenly step through the walls just beyond the torch's radius. There are 8 defenders in total, and all of them draw their weapons. They begin to advance.
"Oh, no. He has gained command of the defenders," Kay groans as his gaze flits between the defenders and the soul harvester. "I...I don't think we can stop him."
The soul harvester continues to harvest the souls of the elders, but now there are 8 defenders to prevent the party from interfering. Actions?

(No, you don't. Check the post where I stated you only had a couple spells restored when the party rested in the Blackstone Cathedral, and where I also noted you do not have time to prepare spells.
Preparing a spell list for the day takes hours and is an activity that only occurs over night)
