I'm starting to think it might be very amusing to play a group that's very one-sided. There's a lot of arcane users in this group...one more could be amusing. I mean, look at the strategy if I go with my idea: one player summons monsters and enchants foes, two rangers peg with arrows while sending companions, you've got two more characters with ranged spells, then you have Keno. Everything will be blasted by a hundred arrows and spells before it even gets near the group.

Do we really have a straight up caster, though? Or would that be the character you might be going with? A Suel only really has buff spells. I think it's limited to abjuration, transmutation, divination and illusion. Some good spells, but nothing really offensive, damage wise I mean. I don't have access to Complete Mage, so I don't know much about the Abjurant Champion d00d. And I'm not familiar with the character Keno's playing either.

She's fairly weak, since Ranger companion levels are halved from a Druid. Still, the party does sound interesting, but I thought we'd have one straight melee character. Well, if it doesn't work, someone dies, and then they can make a melee one or something, hehe. Edit: looks like we have some people who can take hits... so nevermind. ^^

Oh, hell, forget the companions. Animals, arrows, spells, or whatever, everything seems powerful when your enemy is Slowed or Stopped. ;D
And I have decided to create my catfolk monk AND my wizard, and keep one on hand in case the other dies, or a lot of people drop out.
Btw, you guys are using outdated versions of my reference sheet.

Is it possible to learn languages at any point during the game?
I ask because if the game progresses far enough, Dragon Disciple seems like a pretty good class to grab some levels in and knowing Draconic is a prerequisite for it.
