Who's In?
Character creation 4d6, drop lowest. Starting Level 8
I know Mikel is going to import Marrisa (ranger) in from the Seeds game, which is fine.
I would prefer to limit races to the core races and those presented in the "Races Of" Series of books. The "Complete" books are also valid choices for character options. Anything else please ask me first.
A few things we're going to try a little differently this time around:
First off, you'll be doing your own rolls. I figure we're all mature enough here not to cheat.
When there is a call for initiative, or a check that is general (meaning everyone can attempt it) the first player to respond should feel free to roll for everyone.
Each player is expected to post a minimum of once every 24 hours.
Also, regarding the party, it would be best if you all know each other previous, adventured together as an adventuring company, or some such. Feel free to make up a name for the party, etc.

Me in. ;D
Wanna see what kind of wizard Bebop is throwing out first though.
Scores for me: 17,17,12,15,13,10
Yes, I actually rolled that. Scores jump very quickly when you discard the 1 you always seem to roll after rolling two 6's.
Damn, those are good monk numbers too. That always happens when I plan to play a wizard.

I think the replacement character I had for Illyria was a Abjurer/Geometer.
I'll probably stick with that, unless I get struck by something else I really want to do.....or I get crappy wierd scores.
Scores: 11,15,14,15,7,11

Oh, that reminds me: do we add the two bonus ability score points to the scores we roll, or will they be included in the scores we generate?

add them in after you roll. Your rolled scores are the base and work from there.

4d6 drop lowest rocks. Rolled the first set just 3d6, and ended up with a total modifier of -1. >_> Real stats: 17, 16, 16, 14, 13, 10
Thinking of something martial or sneaky. Currently browsing Complete Warrior/Adventurer/Scoundrel for ideas.

LOL. That's exactly what happened to me. I had two 5's the first time. ;D

It also seems that my clear d6'es don't roll well unless they're all rolled together. If I take my silver, gold, and green d6'es, each from a different set, they roll decent 3d6 stats, actually.

Ok, quick questions: Class variants found in Unearthed Arcana okay to use? Specifically the Battle Sorceror?

Ok, I've been thinking about this import, and I'm not sure what you would like me to do. Since the starting level is 8, and I am level 8 with +1 LA, I've been thinking maybe I should just re-roll her and start back at level 7 again. I have a few thoughts:
- I don't think I've picked up anything from Exag, so my equipment should be okay, gold wise. - Is the LA treatment going to be the same? - I have to redo the backstory, or at least append to it, seeing how Seeds goes.
What was your thoughts, keno?

Cealia: Sure, the more the merrier.
Myst: She can stay at level 8, but I may move her back to the base XP for level 8. Haven't decided yet.
You can incorporate Seeds into her background.

Martin and I discussed it, and I am going to reroll Marrisa. She'll have the mostly the same backstory and equipment that fits under the game. I'll work on her new sheet.
Rolls: 17, 14, 14, 12, 12, 11

I've got a signifcant portion of my character done/figured out, however this last week or so and this week up till Wednesday will be pretty hectic still.
I'll try to work on it as much as I can, just letting you d00ds know.

I need to see what kind of classes are put in play before I can do a character. It's either gonna be a catfolk monk, conjurer, or enchanter.

Well, I've got a front-lines Melee combatant with a splash of spells built up, just have to do the number crunching and I'm done. Fighter 2, Battle Sorceror 4, Abjurant Champion 2.

Right now I'm looking at having an Abjurer 6/Geometer 2.
I guess we can never have too much magic, but we could still use some front line muscle.
If you're dead set on a magic user, TG, I wouldn't mind putting together a Pally/Knight Protector or something along those lines.

I *am* the Front-Line muscle. 18 Str, 16 Con, wicked AC with a pair of spells, and a Large-sized Greatsword. +7 BAB and a caster level of 7 almost entirely for buff/utility spells. And that's without buying any real gear yet...

Wouldn't hurt to have more than one I guess is what I'm saying. What with those lucky rolls you always get.

I'm thinking of playing a factotum (DungeonScape)/Chameleon (Races of Destiny) which of course means Dungeonscape is fair game now, if you have it and want to use something out of it.

Dammit!
Sin's jibber jabber about mixed combat/spells make me want to try out a Suel Arcanamach.

Like I said, I want to see what you guys do first. Enchanters aren't offensive killers, and conjurers are good for small groups.
I'm starting to lean towards a monk though. The prospect of playing one with an 18 STR and 22 DEX score is just too tempting.

Gahhhhh!
Is Suel Arcanamach cool, Keno? What with the Ancient Suloise and reading the Grimoire Arcanamacha?
Maybe a renegade from the Scarlet Brotherhood or something....

As long as you're using the one from Complete Arcane, that's fine.

'Kay, so now my character is lookin' like a Fighter 5/Rogue 2/Suel Arcanamach 1. And if no one else distracts me again, that's what it will stay as. ;D This is gonna drive me nuts. I probably won't be able to get any real work done on this until tomorrow, but it's going to be running through my mind all day. Damn you people! ;D
