So they followed up one bad book with another bad book.
Wish I could draw. Seems like the comic book market has softened a fair bit and there is room for new, not-agenda driven stories.

The industry is dying. Comic book stores are closing, and a lot of it is Marvels fault.

The next Spider-Man movie, helmed by Marvel, not Sony, is going to be quite a cross-over. Not only does it nab characters from Sony's Venom, but it's also going to feature Netflix's Daredevil.

The more I learn about the next Spider-Man, the more I feel like this is a good direction for Marvel to go after Avengers. They're introducing the Sinister Six in this movie and, apparently, they had always planned on bringing back the Netflix Defenders. They were going to use She Hulk, but I like this direction much better. I do wonder how Sony will handle all of this, though. This was supposed to be their own miniature Avengers universe.
Now, The X-Men are supposed to start appearing in the next Captain Marvel movie. I know you don't like Marvel, but if Rogue appears like she is supposed to in this movie...then Marvel will end up in a coma for the next 10 years and ultimately be knocked out of the MCU. So...you should actually be rooting for this movie.

I don't like marvel comics. However I've mostly enjoyed the cinematic universe, but it's current direction concerns me. I despise Brie Larson. I have no hope for She-Hulk, since the writer for that is a crazy person. It's pretty obvious why they're putting X-Men into the captain marvel movie. I doubt many would have seen the first movie if they hadn't been conned it was required viewing for endgame.

But if Rogue is in the next Captain Marvel movie, like the rumours suggest, then Marvel will be knocked out of the MCU. Canon wise, Rogue steals her powers and puts her into a coma for over a decade. And if Marvel is interested in getting rid of Larson, this is a great way to do it. It's canon, so it would be a fan friendly move in multiple respects.
And by the sound of things, She-Hulk seems to have fallen out of their plans. She was supposed to be in the spider-man movie.

As much as I would like her out the MCU, I don't think Brie Larson is going anywhere. Kevin Feige seems to worship the ground she walks on. I just don't think she's even that good an actress, coming from the Sean Connery school of playing yourself, except without the charm, charisma, or presence. Perhaps the comparison is unfair to Sean, as at least he did show some acting ability occasionally. I just don't understand how she gets work. Every single interview I've seen her do, Brie Larson comes across as a simply awful person, who thinks she's better than everyone else. I just don't expect very much from Hollywood now.

Well, Japan isn't taking any of this crap. Earlier this month one of the major dubbing agencies, lead by a number of their voice actors, demanded anime and manga become more diverse and woke and all this crap.
The response by Funimation, the anime studio subjected to this demand? They blacklisted the studio. Now some of the voice actors are putting up apology videos.

World's smallest violin for that studio. Marvel is furloughing a lot of it's comics staff. I don't expect a lot of them will be brought back when the plague lockdown is ended. Not that I care since they treat their customers like shit.

I think the next phase of marvel movies is going to fail hard, as it looks like they're going super woke and Brie Larson is still being pushed as the bestest ever! Just look at how they're promoting their next movie, the eternals. We have two blokes kissing, you must come and see it as it's stunning and brave!

So...SpiderMan No Way Home was jolly good fun. Turns out Daredevil was in the movie after all even after he flat out denied it. Hopefully they will bring back more of the Netflix Defenders.
